Scarlet pride stretches to Arizona for the Annual EHS Southwest Reunion

Nearly 30 Des Moines East High School alumni gathered in Tempe, Arizona at Minder Binders on Monday, February 13, 2017 for the 2nd Annual EHS Southwest Reunion.  Classes from 1953, 1960, 1962, 1965, 1969, and 1976 were represented.

The EHS Alumni Association is one of the oldest and largest groups in the country, and the Annual EHS Southwest Reunion extends EHS pride and spirit to the warm and dry Arizona oasis.  Sheryljan Hedlund, Class of 1965, has coordinated the last two events due to growing requests and interest about a southwest social.  The EHS Southwest Reunion plans to continue this fun, annual event to reconnect alumni and celebrate our Scarlet heritage. If you live in Arizona, or just visit during the winter months, or need an excuse for a vacation – drop by the reunion next year!

  1. How do I purchase tickets for the 140th alumni gathering in advance? The notice says $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
